A web site is a page full of content that can only be accessed via the Internet. Each web site has it's own unique name (domain name) ie. www.nationalgeographic.com is a web site. Basic web sites consist of two different parts; a domain name and a web host. The domain name is what one types in an address bar in-order to access the "web site" the web host is what holds all the content that one sees being displayed on the screen.

Unix or Linux. Why? Because it makes everyones life easier! However if you already have a host which uses windows and you find yourself having troubles DO NOT CANCEL YOUR PLAN RIGHT AWAY. You will loose all your content if it's not backed up someplace safe. Let your web designer/developer handle that issue before canceling. The average down time after changing hosts is between 24-48hrs

NO! a web designer/developers job is to design your web site, arrange imagery and content that you should already have. It is not the web designers responsibility to type paragraphs about your business nor descriptions of products. A great thing to do would be to have your content already typed before contacting a web designer. Indeed we work for you, only to deliver clean and flawless design! Worrying about content at the last minute is frustrating on you and us; often times leaving a web site that is being paid for, sitting around for weeks sometimes months with no content.

OTHER DO's
1- We do help in choosing a web host and/or domain name.
2- We do help in choosing color schemes and layouts.
3- We do set up E-mail accounts and configure them to your outlook or thunderbird.
4- We really do care about you! So we will chit chat with you..if we have the time!

DON'T's
1- We do not track down old content that you've lost track of. ie. calling past web developers, newspapers, magazines, or anyone else to gain any type of content for you (THAT'S YOUR JOB)
2- We do not call your current web host to gain info for you.. (they wont even lets us get past saying "hi" before they hang up on us or curse us out rudely because they fear we are trying to steal your identity/host/credit card info.
3- We do not live in or on the computer 24/7...

2 - Have a(few) idea(s) about what you'd like to accomplish with your web site.
3 - Hopefully realistic ideas. (Sorry but you will not over throw myspace)
